16 Jun World Dairy Innovation Awards 2020 winners revealed
The annual World Dairy Innovation awards, in association with FoodBev, were recently given in a special virtual ceremony. The judging panel considered 245 entries from over 12 countries in 20 categories.
FoodBev Media’s marketing manager, Matthew Rushton said: “Despite all of the challenges we are facing around the world right now we have seen a record number of entries in this year’s World Dairy Innovation Awards. “This speaks volumes for the strides that are being made in the dairy industry, and it is fantastic to see so many companies from every continent taking pride and celebrating your success.”
Yili won two World Dairy Innovation awards:
- Best ice cream/frozen yogurt Yili Group – Xujinhuan Frozen Yogurt Ice Cream
- Best packaging design Yili Group – JoyDay
AND Yili was in the finalist list of a couple of other awards:
- Best children’s dairy product Yili Group – Lolly pop cheese
- Best dairy snack Yili Group – Freeze-Dried Yoghurt Bites
- Best intolerance friendly dairy product Yili Group – Uitstekend Geitenmelk
- Best manufacturing/ technology innovation Yili Group – Development of yogurt ice cream with high active probiotics
- Best marketing campaign or initiative Yili Group – Ambrosial 2020 CNY Campaign
- Best new brand or business Yili Group – Zhennong
- Best packaging design Yili Group – Satine organic pure milk
- Best packaging design Yili Group – Danish Cheese Yoghurt
